The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) announced the strike after contract negotiations with companies such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney and Warner Bros. disintegrated Wednesday. Union leaders said members and staff will join picket lines Friday, with picketing planned in New York and Los Angeles.
